The 2021 Miss Merry Christmas Pageant, a part of It’s a White County Christmas, was held on Saturday, November 6th.
Over 60 girls, from across the county, participated in this year’s pageant! The 2021 It’s A White County Christmas Royalty isas follow: Miss Merry Christmas Laney York, Jr. Miss Merry Christmas Baleigh Simpson, Little Miss Merry Christmas Maci Martin, Tiny Miss Merry Christmas Brynlee Sauls, Toddler Miss Merry Christmas Amelia Martin, and Baby Miss Merry Christmas Kyndall Holman.
Additional awards were given in the respective divisions:
Miss Merry Christmas awards: 1st runner up Brenna Russell, 2nd runner up Dessa Smith, Miss Congeniality Khloe Buchanan.
Jr Miss awards: 1st runner up Lexi Windle, 2nd runner up Emma Legg, Miss Congeniality Awnalee Leonard.
Little Miss awards: 1st runner up Makayla Lewis, 2nd runner up Kaylyn Turner
Tiny Miss: 1st runner up Anna Claire Campbell, 2nd runner up Jocelynn Gibbons
Toddler Miss: Runner up Hayden Attebury
Baby Miss: Runner up Wrinley Harrison
“The Chamber wants to say how in awe we are of the 64 beautiful contestants that participated in this year’s pageant. It is not easy to get in front of such a large crowd, but each of the girls looked beautiful, did a wonderful job, and carried themselves like true royalty. Additional “thank yous” go to Will Knight for emceeing the pageant again this year, Emily Williams for coordinating the pageant, Doug Hays for the sound equipment, Gracie Mae’s for the beautiful flowers, Merle Norman for the judges’ gifts, The 103grounded in grace and The Print Shop, the CWC Key Club, and to the terrific audience who came and supported the contestants,” noted Executive Director Kelly Northcott.
