The 2022 Miss Merry Christmas Pageant, a part of It’s a White County Christmas, was held this past Friday, November 11th.
Over 40 young ladies, from across the county, participated in this year’s pageant! The 2022 It’s A White County Christmas Royalty is as follow: Miss Merry Christmas Aysa Weber, Jr. Miss Merry Christmas Katelyn Davis, Little Miss Merry Christmas Adrieyanna Brewster, Tiny Miss Merry Christmas Jocelynn Gibbons, Toddler Miss Merry Christmas Blakely Nelson, and Baby Miss Merry Christmas Hazeleigh Brown.
Additional awards were given in the respective divisions:
Miss Merry Christmas awards: 1st runner up Briley Burchfield, and Miss Congeniality Hayle Gill .
Jr Miss awards: 1st runner up Grace Sneed
Little Miss awards: 1st runner up Anna Claire Campbell
Tiny Miss: 1st runner up Baylor Bell
Toddler Miss: Runner up Tatim Collins
“The Chamber wants to say how in awe we are of the 40 plus beautiful contestants that participated in this year’s pageant. It is not easy to get in front of such a large crowd, but each of the girls looked beautiful, did a wonderful job, and carried themselves like true royalty. We also had a few contestants that were under the weather and could not participate. We are praying they feel better soon. Additional “thank yous” go to Will Knight for emceeing the pageant again this year, Emily Williams for coordinating the pageant- again, 2021 Miss Merry Christmas Laney York and her mother Anna for all their help, Farmhouse Florist for the beautiful flowers, Sherry Passmore for lights and sound, numerous other volunteers, C-WCHS for the use of the school and to the terrific audience who came and supported the contestants,” noted Executive Director Kelly Northcott.
