Agenda: City Council Meeting of June 15, 2021, at 5:30 p.m.

  1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. Roll Call.
  3. Approve June 1, 2021, Council Meeting Minutes.
  4. Approve May 2021 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
  5. Approve and authorize June 2021 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
  6. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:
    1. Repair of water well #4; Estimate from Scates Valley, Inc.
    2. Resolution 061021: Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Resolution for Improvement under the Illinois Highway Code to commit $15,000 in MFT funds for drainage ditch improvements in Bradshaw Park from Sycamore to Stewart
    3. IDOT Local Public Agency Engineering Services MFT PE Engineering Agreement with Brown and Roberts for $14,500 for preliminary and design engineering for Bradshaw Park Project
    4. Resolution 061121: Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Resolution for Improvement under the Illinois Highway Code to commit $345,000 of MFT funds from the Rebuild Illinois Program for improvements on 0.19 miles of Saunders from Meadows to East End and 0.04 miles of Meadows from Saunders to Sunnybrook.
    5. IDOT Local Public Agency Engineering Services Agreement MFT PE Engineering Agreement from the Rebuild Illinois Program with Brown and Roberts for $33,529 for preliminary and design engineering for the Saunders and Meadows improvement project
  7. Reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard
  8. Reports from Standing Committees.
  9. Business or comments from visitors.
  10. Closed Session to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
  11. Adjournment
