September 16, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.

  1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. Roll Call.
  3. Approve September 3rd, 2013 Council Meeting minutes.
  4. Approve August 2013 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
  5. Approve and authorize September 2013 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
  6. The following will be presented for council consideration:
    1. Proposal by Mr. David Coston CEO of United Energy for electrical engineering services to the City of Carmi.
    2. Request by Brown Fertilizer and Chemical, LLC to a new lease agreement for their use of a portion of the airport property as an aerial application facility.
    3. Review and approve contractor bid(s) for the roof replacement of the Carmi Light & Water building.
    4. Review and approve contractor bid(s) for the construction of a 30’ x 50’ x 10’ metal building at the Water Wells Site.
    5. Rescheduling of the October 7, 2013 meeting to Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in order to avoid a conflict with the Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner.
  7. Reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard.
  8. Reports from Standing Committees.
  9. Business or comments from visitors.
  10. Closed Session for the purpose of discussing personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
  11. Adjournment
