Heads up area artists! Logo designs are being sought by the Bicentennial Committee for use during Carmi’s bicentennial, starting next year. Any White county resident of any age is encouraged to submit their idea.
The idea should be your own work, and submitted in both an 8″x10″ and 2″x2″ size, or roughly thereabouts. On the back of your submission, include your name, address and phone number. You might want to put that info on a piece of masking tape so it doesn’t show through on your design. Also include a paragraph talking about your design and why you chose it.
The winner will receive a $100 prize as well as a t-shirt with the design.
Entries should be turned into the Carmi Chamber of Commerce office with the logo contest form, available atcityofcarmi.com/the-chamber, (scroll down to the bottom of the page) no later than June 12, 2014. For further information please call 618-382-7606.
