Mrs. Jennifer O’Daniel, Brownsville School- Apple TV and Activoters
Mrs. Erica Zieren, Carmi White County High School- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Mrs. Tina Mosier, Jefferson Attendance Center- sets of children’s literature
The grant recipients were selected by the Chamber’s Education Committee and approved during the Board of Directors meeting on September 10, 2015. Education Committee Chairman Toby Brown noted, “All of the applications we received were deserving and we wish we could accommodate them all. We have some educators in our town who are doing some amazing things on shoestring budgets. We are proud to be able to help out, as we feel an investment in our teachers is an investment in our town’s most valuable commodity: our youth.”
The Carmi Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide these grants to help further the education of students in the Carmi White County School District. Funding for the grants comes from the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament held each June.
