Carmi Chamber of Commerce Radio Auction Set for March 21

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce Radio Auction is set for March 21 on WRUL 97.3 FM with the air time being donated by Withers Broadcasting. A number of items will be available for auction with all proceeds going to the Chamber of Commerce for Chamber activities and promotion. Items include:
Those interested in purchasing an item should listen to 97.3 FM WRUL from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 and call in to bid on items which they are interested. Airtime has been donated by Withers Broadcasting for this event.
Photos of a majority of the items may be found of the Chamber’s Facebook page: facebook.com/carmichamberofcommerce. Winners of all items can come by the Chamber office to pick up and pay for items during regular office hours (Monday, Wednesday– Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) or by appointment.
Items for the auction include a $45 soap and lotion basket from Hippie Hill Produce Plus, two gift certificates for a rack of ribs from Yesterday’s Drive In, two pet groom gift certificates from Central Bark Pet Grooming, a $30 photo frame from Stein’s Flowers, stadium lounge chair ($32 value) from Logo Graphics, shellac manicure and pedicure from Do or Dye Salon, ladies Seiko Watch ($119 value) from H.D. Bean’s Jewelers, vehicle detail from Rice Motors, M.C. Handbag ($98 value) from Merle Norman Cosmetics and Boutique, his and her sunglasses from Carmi Eyecare ($150 value), free pizza and drink coupons from Huck’s, Spartina 449 Purse ($159 value) from the Courtyard, $25 Scentsy gift certificate from Scentsy Consultant Lindsay Rouse, $50 lawn care gift certificate from Joe’s Lawn Care, two $100 gift certificates from Brown’s Fertilizer and Chemical, black 2.4 cubic foot refrigerator ($119.99 value) from Sear’s, office chair ($120 value) from Reppert’s Office Supply, Disney Princess scooter ($19.99 value) from Gillard’s, oil change from White County Ford, one hour massage from Jane Day Spa, oil change from Weber’s Auto Repair Center, two free large pizza coupons from Casey’s, $25 gift certificate from Karger Kollectibles, one pair of in stock non prescription sunglasses from Taylor Eye Care (up to $300 value), one free lunch from Tequilas (beverage not included), gift certificate for 18 hole round of golf with golf cart for four and a box of Srixon golf balls ($150 value), $25 gift certificate from Gottzz’s, an item from Sunflower Brooms, four 1949 die cast Chevrolet trucks from Blankenship Auto Parts ($20 value each), gift basket from Chamber President Debbie Hoskins, two massages, t-shirt and three gift baskets from Joyner Therapy Services and a $200 gift certificate plus one hour design time from Kelly Company.
Hamilton Memorial Hospital has donated a mammogram, which is a $300 value. The recipient/buyer would need to be 35 years or older and would be required to travel to the hospital in McLeansboro for the service.
The Carmi Family Clinic has donated a Health Screen Profile, a $300 value. This is a fasting blood draw that tests cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, BUN, creatinine, total billirubin, CBC, GFR, calcium, total protein, AST, alk phosphatase, albumin, phosphorous, sodium, potassium, chlorine, CO2, and TSH. This service will be completed at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Carmi Family Clinic at 1112 Oak St in Carmi.
