Chamber holds ribbon cutting for Little Sprouts Learning Center

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Friday, January 6, 2023, to welcome new member and new business, Little Sprouts Learning Center.

Little Sprouts Learning Center is a privately owned faith-based learning center and preschool located at 1220 Oak St. in Carmi, IL and is owned and operated by a mother/daughter team, Beth Conner and Alexis Schmittler.  Little Sprouts is also a 2022 recipient of the Carmi Chamber Start-up Grant.

Services available include full-day care for children ages newborn to 5, and before/after school and summer care for school age children.  And, beginning in the fall of 2023 they will be adding an additional preschool program for children to attend preschool without all day childcare! They will begin taking applications for the partial day pre-school in the Spring of 2023, but those who would like to be first on the applicant list are welcome to contact them now. They will continue taking applicants until both the 3-year-old (morning) session and 4–5-year-old (afternoon) session are full.
