Chamber holds ribbon cutting for Nelson’s Barber Shop

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on April 12, 2021 for their newest member Nelson’s Barber Shop (fka Nelson’s On Main).

Nelson’s is a walk-in, cash only barber shop, located at 306A North Church Street in Carmi and owned and operated by Carmi native Lucas Nelson.  Nelson’s specializes in today’s trends- along with a throwback to traditional men’s haircuts, hot towel shaves, and beard trims.

Nelson’s Barber Shop business hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm.  Additionally, they can be found on Facebook by searching Nelson’s On Main.

“We are excited to have Nelson’s Barber Shop join the Chamber family.  Luke’s dedication and positive outlook on small town community is exactly what the Chamber looks for in our members,” noted Chamber Director Kelly Northcott.
