During the monthly meeting of the Carmi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Thursday evening, six new members were welcomed: Factory Connection, Central Bark Dog Grooming, Do or Dye Salon, Tri State Auto Credit LLC, Immediate Roustabout LLC and Grayville Host LLC. “We are pleased to welcome these new businesses to the Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to working with them,” noted Chamber Director Holly Healy
In addition to welcoming the new members, the Board of Directors heard an updated on the 70th Annual Dinner scheduled for October 6, 2014. Entertainment will be provided from the CWCHS Music Department and Superintendent Brad Lee will present information on the proposed sales tax that will be on the ballot this fall. Those wishing to make a reservation, at a cost of $20 each, should do so no later than September 26 by calling the Chamber office.
