During the monthly meeting of the Carmi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Thursday evening, the Board of Directors welcomed A and S Enterprises LLC (Pundrakes) and Midway BBQ Shack & More. “We welcome these businesses to the Chamber and look forward to working with them,” noted Chamber Director Holly Healy.
In addition to welcoming new members, the Board of Directors voted to pay the cost of purchasing the CEO curriculum for White County schools. While the Chamber is paying the initial fee, investors are still needed to fully fund the program at a commitment of $1000 a year for three years. In addition to investors, opportunities to speak to the class and have the class tour local businesses are available.
The Board also heard an update on the Chamber’s Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 27. Those wishing to join the Carmi Chamber of Commerce, or seeking more information about the CEO program or upcoming golf tournament, should contact the Chamber office at 382-7606.
