The City of Carmi is seeking bids for a new roof for the Carmi Police Department, located at 703 Oak Street, Carmi, Illinois. The roof may be viewed Monday – Friday, 7am- 3pm. Bidders should include bids for one or more of the following:
TPO Roof: Bids should include materials and labor.
Duralast Roof: Bids should include materials and labor.
Pitched Roof: Bids should include all materials for a pitched metal roof and labor.
Pitched Roof Materials Only: Bids should include all materials for a pitched metal roof.
Equipment Rental: Crane rental and manlift rental with a cost per day given.
Illinois Prevailing Wage will apply in accordance with the Prevailing Wage Act. Those submitting bids must have an Illinois Roofing License.
Sealed bids should be submitted to the City of Carmi, 225 E Main Street, Carmi, IL 62821 and marked “Roof Sealed Bid” by 8am on May 30, 2025. Bids will be opened during Special Meeting of the Carmi City Council meeting at 8am on May 30, 2025, in the Carmi City Council Chambers, 225 E Main Street, Carmi, IL. Please note, there are no plans or bid documents available for this project.
Bids should include the bidder name, contact information, bid quote and a certificate of liability insurance. Bids including labor that do not contain a certificate of liability insurance and a copy of a roofing license will be rejected.
The City of Carmi reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
