ORDINANCE NO. 1597
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Carmi, Illinois that curfews be set for City of Carmi owned parks as follows:
Burrell Park- 10pm-5am, with the exception of campers staying in the campground.
Bradshaw Park- 10pm-5am, with the exception of school or Carmi Recreational Summer League sanctioned baseball, softball or tennis games ending past 10pm.
Eckerle Park- 10pm- 5am, with the exception of school, American Legion or Carmi Recreational Summer League sanctioned baseball or softball games ending past 10pm.
Uptown Theater Park- 10pm-5am
Archie Brown Park- 10pm-5am, with the exception of school or Carmi Recreational Summer League sanctioned baseball or softball games ending past 10pm.
City sanctioned events lasting after 10pm are exempt from this ordinance.
Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than fifty or more than five hundred dollars per day.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
