Fifteen local businesses and one organization participated in the annual It’s A White County Christmas Storefront Window Decorating Contest this year. While each entry did a spectacular job of displaying Christmas Spirit, the judges- who shall remain anonymous- stated that the winner’s display “Represents the true meaning of Christmas.” The Carmi Chamber of Commerce would like to announce Kati Sturgal- Shelter Insurance as the winner of the 2020 It’s a White County Christmas Storefront Window Decorating Contest. Shelter Insurance is, located at 221 E Main St, Carmi.
“We were glad to once again open this fun contest for the local businesses and organizations of the community and want to say thank you to those of you that contributed to filling White County with Christmas spirit. We encourage everyone to drive by all the displays in the evenings and to stop by the businesses in the daytime to check out the services they offer. A list of the participating businesses can be found on the Chamber’s Facebook page.” noted Chamber Director Kelly Northcott.
