The Carmi Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Jeff and Amy Buttry family on Valter Dive have been selected as the recipients of the 2014 Lighted Home Award. The winners received $50 in Carmi Dollars and will be displaying the Yard of the Month sign through the remainder of the holiday season.
“I would like to thank the residents of Wabash Christian Retirement Center for judging this contest,” noted Chamber Director Holly Healy. Healy encourages those out looking at Christmas lights to enjoy all the beautiful displays in Carmi. “If you drive by the Buttry home, make sure you roll down your windows to enjoy the music,” stated Healy.
The Lighted Yard Contest was brought to you in part by Haley Production Company, Eastern Services, Carmi Lions Club, Banterra Bank, Carmi Kiwanis Club and Southeastern Illinois College.
