Planned Pesticide Application starting May 27th through June 3rd , weather permitting. between the hours of 7am-3pm.
Planned locations include:
All areas north of the railroad tracks are included. This includes areas between the railroad to the South, Shipley/Sycamore to the North, First Street/Oakland Ave to the East and Burrell St, Foley Drive to the West. This includes Bradshaw Park, Archie Brown Field, Third St to Centerville Road and Railroad Ave.
Planned Pesticide Application June 2nd – Friday, June 6th , weather permitting. between the hours of 7am-3pm.
Planned locations include:
The areas to be sprayed will be all areas between the railroad tracks to the North, Main Street to the South, Industrial Ave to the West and Locust St to the East. Also included will be the “downtown” areas, sidewalks and alleys, between Cherry St. to the North, Robinson St to the South, Locust St to the East and Jessup St to the West, Sunnybrook Subdivision, Country Club Rd from Rt1 to 900 East and under power lines at 725 CO RD 1450 N. Also included is East Carmi from the river to the West, the entrance to Yale South Haven and 1250E to the East between the bus lot (behind Bill’s Garage) to the North and Doty St to the South.
The following pesticides are in use:
Gly Star 5 Extra (Glyphosate), commonly referred to as Roundup, a non-selective herbicide, using a boom sprayer, wand, or handheld sprayer at a range of concentrations of 3-4oz per gallon to control unwanted vegetation.
Special Instructions: Keep people and pets off treated areas until the spray solution has dried.

Crossbow (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, butoxyethyl ester), commonly referred to as 2,4D, a selective herbicide, using a boom sprayer, wand, or handheld sprayer at a range of concentrations of 1.25-2.5 oz per gallon to control unwanted woody vegetation.
Special Instructions: Keep people and pets off treated areas until the spray solution has dried.
